Lawrenceville, GA – January 1st, 2025 – Magnolia Aviation and Thrasher Aviation are excited to announce their merger, creating an industry-leading flight training organization. The newly combined company will operate from its new headquarters in Lawrenceville, GA, with a state-of-the-art fleet of Van’s Aircraft RV-12iS aircraft to provide high-quality, hands-on training for aspiring pilots.

Leadership Transition: Brian Simmons of Thrasher Aviation will step into the role of President of Magnolia Aviation following the merger, bringing his extensive experience and leadership to further strengthen the company’s growth and vision. Steven Wood from Thrasher Aviation will be moving into the role of Director of Safety of Magnolia Aviation.
